Shortly After Torvald Opens The Letter From Krogstad....
Torvald: NORA! What is all this?!
Nora : I don't know. What is it?
Torvald: Don't play stupid. I'm sure you know exactly what this is. I mean, you WERE trying to avoid me from seeing it with your stupid Tarantella.
Nora: I wasn't trying to do anything. What does it say? Let me see.
Nora: I wasn't trying to do anything. What does it say? Let me see.
Torvald: Oh, is that so? So you're telling me Krogstad just decided to make all of this up? Come on Nora, you're smarter than that. Then again, you're... not.
Nora: What! Okay so that stupid letter is true! It is, Torvald. Now what, huh? It's over, is that what you want? Me to confess?
Torvald: And don't think I didn't know about your little "friendship" with Dr. Rank.
Nora: Wh-what? He and I have nothing. I don't know what you're talking about.
Torvald: Nora, Nora, Nora. My, you really are a little skylark. Pretty dumb of you to do. Trust me, I'm not falling for your act anymore.
Nora: What's going to happen now, Torvald?
Torvald: I must confess something as well. I'm much clever than you.
Nora: I'm listening.
Torvald: Why do you think I never said anything to you? Why do you think I let you do whatever you want? Why do you think I let you step all over me. My, you must think I'm one dumb fella, huh? Well I'm not.Torvald: And don't think I didn't know about your little "friendship" with Dr.
Nora: So, you knew?
Torvald: About every little thing. Trying to keep it all from me just wasn't going to keep going on.
Nora: What exactly is everything?
Torvald: Just pretty much the whole entire thing. Forgery to lies and more lies.
Nora: Torvald! I didn't lie. I just couldn't tell you the truth, yet.
Torvald: And I'm pretty sure you're wondering how did I know the entire time?
Nora: That is true. What made you stay quiet about it all?
Torvald: I set you up. Yeah, it is I who wanted it to happen this way. The thing is, I don't love you. Dr. Rank is actually my friend whom I knew since we were little kids. Krogstad is just someone I went to school with back then. We met up at a bar not too far from here. Why do you think I kept shut?
Nora: Torvald, how could you? (Goes into the other room in tears.)
Torvald: I knew the kind of girl you became. Trust me, everyone was in this. I stood quiet because I wanted to see if the things I heard were true.
Nora: Enlighten me, Torvald.
Torvald: You might have thought you've done it for the right reasons, but you really didn't. It really hit me when you started flirting with Dr. Rank. Of course, to you, that wasn't flirting?
Nora: I'm sorry. Don't go. Don't make this any worse than it already is.
Torvald: I'm taking the children with me. I don't plan on seeing you much often. Unless you're trying to see the your children.
Nora: Torvald, wait. No. This can't be happening. No, no, no, no, no, no. First my dad, now you. I knew I should have thought twice about this. (Speaking her mind.)
(As Torvald began leaving the house to the car, Nora went chasing after him begging on her knees for him not to go. Once he pulled of with the kids in the car, she just dropped to the floor in tears. As time went on, she began to drink a lot as a way to get away from her depression.)
